One Peice TCG: Would have a higher score if the supply issues where over – admin
One peice TCG is a trading card game based on the ONE PEICE anime. with over 20 years, 1000+ eppisodes, manga and mutiple movies it has an incredibly diverse and and discript history. the only problem the game has, is you CANNOT FUCKING BUY IT.
Bandai the parent company has had a catastrophic supply issue lasting over a year making absolutly no products avaliable at msrp. with most products selling for two to three times the masrp ammount, due to a unequivocal failure to meet demand.
Op06 booster box is their most recent release, while supply issues hit all over europe, england fared the worst. with distrabutors only reciving the product 5 to 14 days later than the rest of the world. shipments where cut so low most allocations where canceled at the shop level. meaning pre orders, where unable to be forfilled and only a very few ammount of people getting any packets let alone any box’s.
The preditory nature of the bussness practices used by local card stores and online stores seem to be crossing the line into a legal grey area. with stores holding back 100’s of products in order to infalte the value. stores cancelling orders to then relist products at higher prices.
Its an absolte tradagey because the game itsself is incredibly fun to play.
